Sign up for this list to receive updates about spirituality programming and planning related to the Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference. We are currently planning for the 2017 event, which will be September 7-9, 2017 in Philadelphia, PA. More general information about the conference can be found through the Mazzoni Center website.

Our current priorities for spirituality programming include:
  1. Expand spiritual resilience through literacy, practice, and relationship building.
  1. Counter anti-trans bigotry through healing, educational, and activist approaches.
  1. Build movement capacity by convening strategic encounters between spiritual/cultural workers and other transgender leadership
  1. Balance programming overall among Pagan Traditions (what is this?), Eastern Traditions (what is this?), Jewish Traditions, Christian Traditions, Muslim Traditions, and Non-Theistic Traditions (what is this?). We will also be working closely with the Indigenous working group of the conference, which functions independently.
Note: PTHC spirituality programming and planning is convened by Transfaith, a national non-profit that is led by transgender people. We are a multi-tradition, multi-racial, multi-gender organization working to support transgender spiritual/cultural workers and their leadership in community. We work closely with many allied organizations, secular, spiritual, and religious, transgender-led and otherwise.
